đź–¤ On Writing PLEASE (Van & Westley)

1 min read

I didn’t write PLEASE to be comfortable.

I wrote it to explore what happens when control replaces communication. When obsession disguises itself as protection. When cruelty is intentional.

Van and Westley are not a healthy relationship. They are not aspirational. They are not soft.

This book contains:

• Non-con / Dub-con

• Psychological control

• Power imbalance

• Violence

• Morally gray (and darker) choices

Consent is blurred. Silence is used as leverage. Pain is sometimes the point.

If you’re looking for romance that asks permission, this isn’t it.

But if you’re drawn to dark psychological dynamics — to stories where love is tangled in power and damage — this is exactly that.

I don’t believe in bait-and-switch when it comes to dark romance. You deserve to know what you’re walking into.

PLEASE is currently $0.99 and available in Kindle Unlimited.

If you read it, I’d love to know what unsettled you most.
